License renewal at 70 years old:
Some entitlements do not carry over automatically. Class A (bikes) and class B (cars) renew via the usual form.
However, class C (motorhomes) and class D (minibuses) license renewal is not automatic. You will need a D2 form application and your GP D4 form posted to the DVLA. This is the same as for professional drivers.
Apparently the medical exam costs £50 – £225. (It varies depending on whether you use a NHS GP or a private health clinic).
