A 1984 American Black Comedy Horror. “… a wickedly funny and slightly sick ride”. “A dark, crazy, twisted, inventive and violent Christmas classic.” Shockingly for those of us who watched it in the cinema – this film is now over 40 years old! 

12A = children under 12 admitted with an adult.

It’s free for all children to watch this matinee performance. Adults £5.

A 2005 New Zealand biographical sports drama.  “….Anthony Hopkins’ warm and endearing portrayal of an age-defying thrill seeker.”

Fri 17th Oct 2025 – Run Lola Run – rated 15 – £5 entry

A 1998 German thriller. “…it has a story you can follow without having to read those annoying subtitles. I can’t rave about this film enough—this is passionate film making at its best.“

Fri 14th Nov 2025 – The Ballad of Wallis Island – rated 12 – £5 entry

A 2025 British Comedy-drama . “…a sublime, adorable comedy“….”a nostalgic look at the memories we all lock up in the harmonies in our heads – the ones we carry with us through life.”

Fri 19th Dec 2025 – Winners – rated PG – Free entry for villagers & guests

A 2022 British Persian-language drama.  If you liked Cinema Paradiso, you’ll love this. “Winners, is an ode to cinema and the joys it brings, and it also pays tribute to the great achievements of Iranian filmmakers”
