What’s it all about?
Artists were invited to submit their work based on the theme of “A Moment In Time“. Paintings, sculptures, photography, textiles, poetry and more. Successful competition entries are now on view at the The Secret Gallery until Sat 23rd August.
And the prize ceremony?
You can watch this in The Shambles on Sat 9th August from 4pm to 6pm. Live music by violin and guitar duo “Bistro Blue”, along with poetry readings plus a Courtyard Bar provided by Cobblers.
Winners will be in the following categories:
Overall winner – £300 prize and feature article in the new Down The Line magazine
Best 8 and under – sponsored by Newent & District Rotary Breakfast Club
Best 9 -14 – sponsored by Newent Business Club
Best 15-18 – sponsored by Newent Town Council
