For the AGMs, this year the village hall goes first and the church AGM (also in the village hall) will follow the same evening.
At the end there will be a free drink for all those attending. Cheese and biscuits will be provided by the church. And the bar will be open!
Message from Jemima, the Village Hall Committee Chair on 20.04.26
Dear Villagers,
I know that we have often over 50 of you come to the various events that your Village Hall committee put on, which is wonderful. However I looked at the numbers going to the AGM last year and it was only 20.
If you enjoy the events and the Christmas Dinner and so on, you need to know the committee who work very hard for you, and what is needed to be able to continue what we offer now.
So I am writing to ask as many of you who can to come to the next AGM which is the 29th of this month at 6.45pm. The committee will be there to welcome you and there will be a free drink plus cheese and biscuits afterwards to tempt you.
I would like to see double the number that came last year as your support is vital.
I look forward to seeing many of you on the 29th. If you want to reply to jpj@icbp.org that would be helpful to get enough cheese!
