What: The Newent Spring Fayre takes over the town centre with markets, music, family activities and cultural events across multiple venues. Join us for a day of fun and community spirit across multiple Newent town venues

The Newent Spring Fayre returns…

A Newent Town Council community event, supported by Newent Business Club and supporting local charities: 232 Daffodil Line and Space to Grow.

The Spring Fayre Market runs from 10am to 4pm in the Market Square, with dedicated space for community stalls in St Mary’s Churchyard.

There will be a wide range of entertainment throughout the town during the day – expect it to be a busy one!

FREE parking at the Lakeside car park means you can park for the WHOLE DAY and explore everything the Spring Fayre has to offer.

Just steps from the car park:

  • Fairground rides and live music at The Ark
  • Wild walks
  • FREE daffodil shuttles every half hour (between 9.30am – 3.30pm) to see our wild Daffs in Oxenhall, Newent Woods and Dymock.

St. Mary’s Church is your family fun headquarters with:

  • Drop-in Easter bonnet making
  • Messy Church
  • Sports with Sportily
  • Puppets
  • Face painting
  • Balloon modelling
  • Community stalls
  • Wyldwood Pudding Club

There will also be an Easter bonnet parade with Roger Deeks, Deputy Lord Lieutenant.

The Shambles brings culture and creativity with:

Church Street – storytelling with Darren Hoskins, alongside a stunning Spring exhibition at The Secret Gallery, and live music at Cobblers No.7 with Mark i.

There will also be a musical theatre workshop for all ages and experience levels. So You Think You Can’t Sing will be at the Newent Memorial Hall at 2pm. Places are limited, so for more information or to book your free ticket visit Ticket Source.

Broad Street: 

Chamber 22 will host the Kings Shilling Shanty Singers at 12pm and from 12 noon to 4pm there will be FREE drop-in craft workshops:

  • Watercolour & mark making with Yvonne Featherstone
  • Leatherwork with Bela Kielt
  • Textiles & thread work with Lizzie Godden
  • Willow weaving with Sam Wingfield

Space to Grow, Newent’s Hidden Garden, will hold the following from 10am to 4pm

  • Fireside hot chocolate and toasted marshmellows
  • Egg hunt
  • Plant stall
