Event Details

Newent Celebrates is hosting the Through The Centuries event in Newent Park. Bring the family for historical displays and medieval banquet.

2026 is Newent’s 800th birthday as a market town and throughout the summer Newent Celebrates has been hosting an event each month. Through The Centuries is the final item in the season’s schedule.

Visitors are invited to step back in time and experience history brought to life in Newent Park. With historical displays and a medieval-themed atmosphere, the event offers a chance to explore different periods of the past in an engaging and family-friendly setting.

From glimpses of everyday life in earlier times to the sights and sounds (and smells?) of a traditional medieval banquet, the day promises a relaxed and enjoyable way to connect with history. Whether you’re curious about the past or simply looking for something a little different, “Through the Centuries” is set to be a memorable addition to the Newent Celebrates programme.
